How to Create a Legal Size Document in OpenOffice

There are some people who are not accustomed to use open office, so even a simple problem like on how to create a legal size document in open office is not easy for them. By default, a document in open office is usually in letter size and converting it to legal size is not an easy task for some people. This is because they cannot find the size option in any of the usual places like in Microsoft Word (there is no "Page Setup" option in the File menu).

To help them, I would like to share my simple tutorial on how to create a legal size document in Open Office

Step 1
Click on the Windows "Start" menu, and then click on "All Programs." Click on the "OpenOffice.org" folder to expand, and then click on "
OpenOffice.org Writer" to start Open Office writer.
Step 2

Click on Format > Page. This is an important difference between MS Office and OpenOffice.

Step 3
In page tab, just change the paper format into legal and save it by clicking OK. That's it and enjoy writing your documents.
